From the Dashboard

Scroll down just past the map where you can see your location

Click on map.

Go to menu scroll down to statelite on.

From the  Dashboard

Click on menu

Click on My Friends

Click on Import contacts

Click on menu then add community

Then from the drop down community list select yahoo and when you ‘re done repeat and do the same for Google MSN .

After you have completed your account settings, go back to Import Contacts and tick the selections and then click on import.

All you have to do is chat to the DUDE (near bela bela).

The Dude can be found at the top of your friends list, if you ask him for help he will show you how to do it.

Its very easy, in an IM message do the following:

(type in friends number) (add a full stop) (then your message)

0792584929.Yo what we doing tonight ? frm Charlene

The Dude will let you know if he sent the nmessage correctly or if you need to change something.

Create a group chat by clicking menu Group chat, select the friends you want to chat to online or offline.

Create conference room, once the room has been created, you can rename it and add more friends by clicking menu, rename or add friends to room.

The handset that you are using unfortunately does not support file access for The Grid.

In order for you to upload a blip, all you have to do is send us an MMS.

Go to your phones image gallery, select the right image, click options, send , as mulitmedia.

Enter the following numbers as recipient:

Vodacom: 082 008 0031

MTN:  083 930 0034

If you are a Virgn or Cell C subscriber, please visit the WAP site to upload blips.  http://wap.thegrid.co.za

Because your phone does not support phonebook access. You have to manually enter your friends phone numbers so that we can hook you up with them.

Go to main menu, click on Invite friends. Enter a cell phone number or many separated by a comma, and a short invite message and remember to leave your real name so that they know who the invite is from.  Click okay.

When your friend joins, you will automatically be made friends.

Go to main menu, click on Find friends. Enter their name or cell phone number. Click okay.

To drop a blip, go to Drop a blip from the dashboard, select Text, under blip name please type unsubscribe.
